Platelet Rich Plasma for skin Rejuvenation

Everyone wants to age well and hopefully minimise the appearance of aging, due to this the facial aging process has been very well studied. For those who are seeking a more natural approach to anti-aging procedures, use clinically proven PRP biological therapy for superior skin rejuvenation.

Platelets Rich Plasma has many potential uses in Dermatology. Autologous PRP is retrieved from patient`s blood and spun in a centrifuge to yield a final product of plasma with a high concentration of platelets. These platelets then activate and release key growths factors that initiate signalling cascades, ultimately maximizing tissue repair and rejuvenation. The innovative procedure has been scientifically proven to increase collagen and blood supply within the skin layers which improves the elasticity, tone, colour, quality of the skin and minimizes wrinkles, scaring and crepey skin. Typically, 2 weeks after treatment an overall improvement in skin hydration, texture and tone can be seen. Between 3-6 weeks, new collagen is made, and new blood vessels are formed leading to an overall improvement in skin appearance.

Treatment time: 90 minutes (numbing cream 45 minutes, injection time 20 minutes)
Frequency: Initially need 3 procedures every 4 weeks and then only one 6-12 monthly all depends on skin condition
