Introducing myself

Dr Nick Fitch is a neurologist with a particular interest in peripheral nerve disorders and clinical neurophysiology. He graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney in 2015 and completed his specialist neurology training at Royal North Shore Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital. He subsequently undertook subspecialty training in clinical neurophysiology at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Dr Fitch is an accredited supervisor in neurophysiology for neurology trainees. He has contributed to research and publications examining the role of vitamins in nerve health and the clinical manifestations of inherited peripheral nerve disorders.

His clinical interests include the assessment of peripheral nerve conditions and the provision of nerve conduction studies, particularly for suspected carpal tunnel syndrome and peripheral neuropathies. Dr Fitch consults at Illawarra Specialist Healthcare, providing specialist neurological and neurophysiology services for patients across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
